Paisagem Mental is a video performance, made in the old mining complex of Regoufe – Arouca, with Claudia Lopes.
The performance was developed within the scope of the research project SHS – Soil health surrounding mining areas: characterization, risk analysis, and intervention – NORTE-01-0145-FEDER-000056, a partnership between the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto, the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto (through i2ADS), Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto and the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto.
This project’s premise is to look at the marks resulting from mining activities in three different territories, on the axis that goes from Valongo to Castelo de Paiva and Arouca. Carla Cruz, Cláudia Lopes worked mainly around the Arouca Geopark territory – Regoufe Wolfram Mining Complex
