Quem Quem Está Ferido… no Festival Feminista
29/04/2019Performance around the role of women in the contemporary Portuguese Society based in the project of Maria Isabel Barreno, Maria Teresa Horta e Maria Velho da Costa: “New Portuguese Letters”, written during 1971, while Portugal was under the Salazar dictatorship – using parts of the original text, news, and text written by the artist. The strange narrative is accompanied with the unveiling of a painted banner with a sequence of eight episodes that portray the roles women are still expected to play in our society.

Finding Money – CAC Brétigny
06/03/2019Finding Money is presented at the Théâtre Brétigny as part of the cycle “Money does not buy happiness”. The exhibition consists in a series of murals and a publication. This publication brings together photographs of collected elements and a recent unpublished part of the journal kept by the two artists. It was produced in collaboration with graphic designers Coline Sunier & Charles Mazé.
